Looking to help hurricane victims?
Consider donating an item(s) to Caritas de Puerto Rico
Hurricane Maria - a category 4 hurricane - struck the island of Puerto Rico on 9/20/17 and left 1 million people without power.
Sandi Correa's extended family was among those impacted by this storm and we'd like to rally around her to support her efforts to get supplies to those in need. If you are willing and able to help, please bring in one of the item(s) listed below by next Friday, October 6th. Donations can be placed in the collection box in the CORE Center cafeteria. Note: No monetary donations will be accepted.
Sandi will be taking donations to the Puerto Rican Society of Waukegan, IL, which is working directly with Caritas de Puerto Rico, a not-for-profit organization that has been in existence since 1969 and supports more than 75,000 people in 60 Puerto Rican municipalities. Visit www.caritas.org to learn more.
If questions, please contact Denise Barr or Sandi Correa.
