Volume 1 Issue 9 November 2nd, 2020
This week in sports
Beginning November 2, 2020 Reagan County ISD will start serving FREE meals to all children 0 -18 years old in the district and community whether they attend school or not. We can provide this service through our SSO (Seamless Summer Option) program. Reagan County ISD will have a drive through/grab-and-go provided at the Elementary Campus in the circle drive by the cafeteria (South entrance) Monday – Friday from 10:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. where breakfast and lunch will be provided for that day. Parent’s will be able to pick up meals for children without children being present if they provide some type of proof that they have a child at home. Examples include: birth certificate, student id, letter from school, SNAP or Medicaid letter. We will still provide a la carte items at High School level. Students will still have to pay cash for those a la carte items. Reagan County ISD is excited to be able to provide this service to the community and hope to reach as many children as possible.

At Reagan County Middle School, we are all about making sure our school is full of great people and it is a great place to be. Part of this is being attentive to what's going on up here. Here are some ways to talk to your child about being attentive:
1. Remove your distractions
2. Focus on the present
3. Refocus your attention as necessary
4. Talk to your teacher
5. Create your own motivation
6. Prepare before class
7. Participate in class
8. Take notes
9. Get enough sleep
10. Eat and drink right!
Please check out these parent newsletters. They have some GREAT information!
As always, please let me know if there is anything I can do. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your child's education.
