Learn about the levy - Thursday, October 3rd
For the first time in 13 years, Mounds View Public Schools is asking residents to consider a levy increase. If approved, the District will have more reliable funding to provide stable class sizes and consistent programs for students – for the next 10 years. What’s the direct impact at Chippewa Middle School? The School Board invites you to attend a levy informational meeting on Thursday, October 3rd in the Chippewa library. All are welcome to attend, ask questions and learn more about the levy. For more information, visit www.moundsviewschools.org/doneforadecade.
Science Olympiad Student and Parent Meetings - Wednesday, September 25th
The initial information meeting for Chippewa students interested in Science Olympiad will be Wed., Sept. 25th after school in the school Auditorium.
A parent meeting will follow at 3:30 in the Auditorium. The parent meeting will include general information about the nature of Science Olympiad at the Middle School level, expectations for the Olympians, the need for parent involvement, limit on student participant numbers and selection process, and a preview of the multiple forms to fill out.
Because the number of students who can participate per coach is limited by MSO, it is important that interested students and at least 1 parent attend the meeting.
If you have any questions, please email the coaches at:
Chippewa Advisory Council
Hello parents, I’m sure that you are all now back into the school routine and have had the opportunity to visit school and meet the teachers.
Last Friday we hosted the ‘Back to school blast’ and about 450 students bounced, laughed, played with old and new friends and enjoyed all the fun treats! Thank you very much to all the fabulous volunteers who helped make this possible.
You may have heard at the parent information nights about ChAC and the other fun events we host. The next one will be October 25th, our Halloween event.
We would like to extend our invitation to you all to join us at the ChAC meeting on October 3rd, 6:30pm in the IMC where you can hear more about our plan for the year and how you might be able to get involved. Have a great weekend!
