What is Stress?

Stress is the body's normal response to events that make you feel threatened or upset by a disturbance in your balance in some way. When you sense danger or feel uncomfortable—whether it’s real or imagined—the body's defenses kick into high gear, and a rapid, automatic process known as the “fight-or-flight” reaction, which causes stress.

Some things that may cause stress:

Family issues

Mike Tyson

Mike Tyson, former heavy weight boxer, suffers from a lot of stress, and stress causing events in his lifetime so far. As a young child, his father abandoned the family, leaving his mother financially unstable and causing them to move to Brownsville, Brooklyn-which is known for its high amount of crime.

Later on, he becomes a professional in the boxing world which, as we all know, any type of major publicity causes major stress and causes you to do regrettable things.

Needless to say, Mike Tyson was sucked into a downward spiral, and ended up in jail for a few years, and has continually fought and has been fighting ever since for positive publicity.
