Technology Connections
This year First Grade will be using RAZ Kids for supplemental reading material to use at school as well as at home. Each book will be tailored to your child’s reading level that follows up with a short comprehension quiz. We are asking that each child bring in $5.50 to cover the cost of the subscription. Please send cash or check (made out to GES) to your child’s teacher by Friday September 29th.

Carnival Information from the PTA
The countdown to the annual GES Carnival & Auction is on, and it is now time to think of our grade level auction baskets! This year auction baskets will be a collaborative grade level effort. Each grade has been assigned a number of basket themes and we are asking families to contribute to one or as many as you would like. For more information, click the link below. A letter will also be going home in each child's folder. We are so excited to see what each grade comes up with!
1st Grade Basket Assignments are: Toys for Boys, Star Wars, Bloomin' Artist, Sugar & Spice, and Movie Night!
