Arabic Book
Students have been creating beautiful books in Arabic. The Arabic book is an individual book that each student has been working on about themselves. Many of you have returned the envelope for the ARABIC class book. If you have not PLEASE send it in by MONDAY!
What's Happening in Arabic class
As you may know, we have several levels of ability in each Arabic class. I divided the students, in each class, into 3 levels. Each level will be given appropriate exercises and homework that is suitable. The 3 levels are nicknamed *Yasmeen*, *Foll*, and *Ward* (names of flowers in Arabic). Your child is in one of the levels (see below). As such, when you log into ManageBac, look for the homework and/or activities for the proper level under the names *Yasmeen*, *Foll*, and *Ward*.

Yasmeen Group
- Alef with hamza.
- Long vowels ( Alef, Yaa and Waw).
- Punctuation Marks.
- Read words before full stops and commas complying with Waqf rules
- Various forms of greetings.
Foll Group
- Punctuation Marks.
- Identify Singular Subject Pronouns الضمائر المنفصلة و المتصلة: المفرد
- Pronounce and recognize letters in words bearing the "Skoon" and " Shadda".
- Question words and making correct question sentences.
Ward Group
- Recognize Prepositions and Prepositional Phrases حروف الجر
- Write sentences using Prepositional Phrases حروف الجر
- Read and Write Interrogative sentences الجمل الإستفهامية
- Summarize a simple story in Arabic
