Crayola ColorCycle Program

The PTO is excited to announce the collection of 1330 markers for recycling through the first trimester -- great work everyone!

Please continue to support our initiative with Crayola to promote the recycling of dried colored markers, highlighters and dry erase markers. Collection bins provided by the PTO can be found in classrooms and main offices throughout our district. Your child can deposit the used markers from home in these bins as well as those used at school. The markers are sent to a facility where they will be converted into clean fuel which can be used to power vehicles, heat homes, cook meals and more. Thank you for supporting this eco-friendly initiative.

Box Tops Collection Drive

The next Box Tops Collection Drive due date is February 14, 2019

The PTO has set a goal of reaching $5000 in combined Box Tops fundraising this school year. Thus far for the 2018-2019 school year, we have achieved a combined total of $3011.70. There are many ways to contribute to our ongoing Box Tops Collection Drive. Clipped Box Tops can be sent to school in a small baggie with your child's teacher name/school building on it throughout the year. There is also a collection bin in each main office.

Membership... Teamwork...Volunteerism

Our annual membership drive began at the start of the school year. Please print a membership form through the link below to join our PTO at any time. We truly value and appreciate the contributions of all members. Joining the S/W PTO provides you the opportunity to share school experiences with your child and helps you get involved through volunteerism in our school community. We have faced some challenges this year at times obtaining the volunteers necessary to operate events. Though we love and need to have as much participation as possible to host successful events, your time commitment can be as much or as little time as you have available. PTO membership offers your enthusiastic support for the wonderful things we do for our students, staff and school families throughout the year. We are proud to have a strong Parent-Teacher Organization ~ please join our team of volunteers today!
