Where did you graduate from college?
Texas State University at San Marcos, TX
Why did you become a teacher?
I became a teacher because I value the voice of the individual. I wanted to help kids learn how to think for themselves so they could go into the world equipped with what it takes to be successful.
What advice do you have for students?
Put your phones down and exist in the moments you are physically in. So much of life is experienced through the senses and it is hard to observe life when you are stuck inside an illuminating box.
AVID Teacher of the Week
AVID students have also chosen Coach McGee as their Teacher of the Week. Coach McGee has been teaching for 9 years, the last 3 have been at MHS.

I became a teacher because I am passionate about coaching.
