The Academic Review and Graduation took hard work, commitment, ability to work with one another as an ensemble, memorization, planning, following directions and a bonding of trust and responsibility with one another. These are skills you will need in life and I was thrilled to see how well you all pulled the show together.

Plan B
Plan B is our newest program to meet the needs of students who are unable to attend school on a daily basis. Given the nature of our program, where the work in class is done collaboratively, missing a few days of school can set a student back significantly. 'Plan B' will be independent study with teacher supervision, when the student is at school. We will have someone supervising the individual work. Students may work a his or her own pace and will need to meet standards of the course. Foreign language and math for Plan B, must be taken through FLVS. Monday - Thursday during the last 2 periods of the day, there will be a supervised FLVS lab where the FLVS teachers will be working with Mrs. Jones to make sure that you are on track. Social studies, English, science and electives may be taken as an independent class, which will not be online.
Students may start out in the regular class and switch to Plan B. However, if a student starts in Plan B and wants to switch to the regular class, the student must wait until the following semester.
A contract will be developed for each Plan B course a student takes. Parents and the student must meet with Dr. Weiner to discuss and sign the contract before a student may participate.
