New Format for Weekly Information
We are going to try sending a school newsletter via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and our website (in the Twitter Feed on the right hand side) in lieu of the weekend calls. After a few weeks of newsletters, data will be analyzed as to how many recipients get the newsletter compared to the weekend calls. As we try this new format, please let other RES families know how to locate the newsletter!
Our website contains a lot of year-long information. The newsletter will be focused on current events and happenings.

Pasta for Pennies Campaign
RES is participating in the Pasta for Pennies campaign from February 3rd-21st through the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. During these weeks, you can send your student to school with donations or set up an online donation page for friends and family to donate as well. A parent letter will be sent home on Friday, January 31st. The class with the most donations will earn an Olive Garden Pasta Party! We appreciate all that you do to support your students. Together, we can "CHANGE" cancer!
Business Donations Needed!
Richlands Elementary School is excited to announce our third Leadership Day on March 18, 2020. On this day, students will demonstrate the various leadership skills they have learned through the school year as part of the implementation of Leader in Me. Students have leadership roles throughout the campus and all students learn and participate using the 8 Habits. Leader in Me provides curriculum geared towards social-emotional learning and leadership development.
We are setting a goal to raise $5,000 to supply all student and staff with a t-shirt as well as refreshment for our visitors that day. We are requesting donations to help us reach our goal; any amount that you can donate will be greatly appreciated.
We appreciate your generosity and goodwill and thank you in advance for your donation to the staff and students at Richlands Elementary. We certainly value the support from our community partners. Please do not hesitate to contact Mrs. Moffitt if you have any questions or concerns.
THANK YOU!!!!!!!
