Behavior Review
The truth is that after breaks, you need to do a re-teach.
As we go into our last few months of school, it is easy to get relaxed on our expectations. Please take the time this week to review your expectations for walking in the hall, using the restroom, lining up, etc.
Open House - 5/11, 6-7:30pm
Many of us last year had our students lead Open House by using a Scavenger Hunt. Here's the ideas that we generated last year:
BODIES (OPERATIONS & LOGISTICS)
Safety Reminders!
2) Walk your students all the way to the bus, the cafeteria or the yard. Do not allow students to walk on their own, this creates disruption in the hall and leads to running/unsafe behavior.
FC Concerns
Solution: There is a restroom in the cafeteria kitchen. Ms. Raponza is willing to share! This restroom is for STAFF only. Enter in through the kitchen door. Restroom is to the left through the kitchen.
Concern #2: The sink in the teacher's lounge is always clogged.
Solution: Work order has been submitted to do a "snake" clean out on the sink. Do not wash your dish in the teacher's lounge sink. Please bring your dish home so that the sink does not fill up with debris.
Concern #3: Dishes are left in the teacher's lounge sink which is unsightly and attracts insects and rodents.
Solution: Do not leave your sink to "soak" or to be picked up later. Staff will begin throwing dishes left in the sink away to prevent insect/rodent issues.
Have a concern? Want to raise an issue?
Next Meeting will be Tuesday, March 28th.
