Tommy Ransom Named Principal for Henderson County High School
July 2, 2019
Tommy Ransom has been named Principal for Henderson County High School.
Ransom received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Murray State University and a Master of Arts in Administration from Murray State University. Ransom also holds certifications in the areas of secondary school counseling and instructional leadership as principal.
Ransom currently serves as the Principal of Madisonville North Hopkins High School.
On accepting the position, Ransom noted, “I am very honored and excited to be the next principal at Henderson County High School. I would like to thank the HCHS SBDM Council for the opportunity. Henderson County has wonderful faculty and staff, and the students are even better. Mr. Thompson has HCHS at a great place, and I hope to build on what he has started. It is tough leaving Madisonville North Hopkins High School and what we have built there. HCHS is home to me, and I can't wait to get back to where I started my educational career. GO COLONELS!”
