The Weekly Wrap-Up
REACH High School
A Message from Mr. Licciardi
Dear REACH Community,
We have made it through most of the testing season at this point. This week we wrapped up testing week two with all but one of our STAAR EOC Exams to administer. I am overjoyed to share that we achieved 100% PARTICIPATION!!!. The next and last tests are our Math STAAR awaits our scheduled testers. Math STAAR, we are ready for you. See below for an overall schedule.
Reminder: Attendance truly matters to avoid a Truancy Prevention Measure and fine and the students' eligibility to earn credits in order to graduate as planned. Remember, attendance is crucial when a passing grade academically cannot be granted if students have 10 or more absences. For some, it will prevent you from walking the stage in May. Also, below is new information on events for eligible seniors. Please read and respond.
News to note!
- Due to weather days in late January into early February, the school year has been extended through to Wednesday, May 31. This means that we will be engaging in year-end instructional and fun activities on those added days. More to come on that! See the updated calendar below.
- Check out the 2023-2024 school calendar by clicking here or scrolling down.
In closing, I would like to offer gratitude to your teachers in my Principal's Message. On behalf of your students, I thank you for your work in preparing students and also for your generosity. Having additional snacks, breakfast items, and drinks to energize students only helps in pushing students through the extended testing window.
Have a wonderful weekend and rest up!
