Message From The Principal
RVHS believes that assisting our students in identifying a future career is as important as helping them earn a diploma. On Monday, November 8, all students at RVHS will take the ASVAB. This an extensive assessment which identifies a person's strengths, weaknesses and interests to recommend potential occupations.
The ASVAB will be taken in coaching classes and typically takes about three hours to complete. We expect to get the results within two weeks. Once received, coaches will meet with individual students or small groups of students to review the results. Once one or more careers are identified, we will explore the necessary pathways (college, trade school, work force or military).
Although we highly encourage all students to participate, parents may opt students out of taking the ASVAB if they choose.
Think different. Be different.
