TSD Family Updates

September 29th, 2023

TSD Families,

As we prepare to turn the calendar to October, we hope that the first few weeks of school have been full of fun and learning for your student(s). We continue to work to improve and know that there are opportunities for us to get better. For many, bus transportation has been a challenge. We will be forming a task force in the near future to help develop a comprehensive plan to address reliable home-to-school transportation. Please look for more information in the near future as we seek volunteers to serve in this important work.

Family Survey- please provide your input

Please help us get better! We launched the fall family survey so we can get perspective on how your child is experiencing school so far this year. An email was sent this week with information and instructions. You can access the survey here or the QR code in the picture. The survey is available in multiple languages. Once you get to the survey, the language option is in the upper left-hand corner. Your voice matters!!

When to Keep Your Child Home

We are starting to see a fair amount of illness already this school year. As a reminder, you will find the "When to Keep Your Child Home" information that we use to assist families as to when children should be kept home due to illness.

If your child has Covid-like symptoms, you can see the most recent Department of Health flow chart here. As of September 25, families are able to order four free test kits by visiting here: https://www.covid.gov/tests.

Thank you for doing your part to keep our students healthy.
