Happy New Year!
Thank you all for the wonderful work that you do to support your children and our school everyday. I'm looking forward to returning to Hoover tomorrow, feeling refreshed and focused on making the remainder of this school year a success! See you in the morning!
Crossing Guard Update
A special thanks goes to Lt. Mark Rayburg, Chief Lauth, and Crossing Guard Supervisor Sharon Kroner for their timely help with this new post. If you have any questions about this change, please do not hesitate to contact me in the main office.
Recently Dr. Steinhauer sent out information regarding procedures for delaying and/or cancelling school in the event of inclement weather. If you did not receive this notice, you can find the letter by clicking HERE.
To ensure that you receive weather notifications from the district, please take a moment to review your contact information on Dashboard. Additional resources for navigating our Dashboard system can be found HERE.

Kids of Steel
The Kids of STEEL Program challenges children to run 26.2 miles over the course of 18-weeks, culminating with the Toyota of Pittsburgh Kids Marathon 1 Mile Race on April 30th, 2016. The goal is for kids to taste and study different fruits and vegetables at home each week to encourage healthy eating habits along with daily exercise to reach their goal of 26.2 miles or more!
