Interested in Teaching Extended School Year over the Summer?
Our extended School Year Summer program will run from June 11th through July 14th with a planning day on June 8th.. The hours will be from 8:00 – 12:00 four days a week. I am looking for 5 educators who are able to work successfully with struggling students, and who are highly motivated and passionate about education. I will be hiring for the core content areas, to serve both middle school and high and school along with 1 VE teacher. If you interested please submit your application by Wednesday April 18th.
A huge congratulations to Ms. Fultz and our Middle School Band!
On Friday April, 6th the middle school band students represented the coyote nation well. The group received straight superiors, the highest rating possible, from all 4 judges and nothing but A’s on their judge's sheets. This is not an easy feat nor is it common. Many bands work years for this outcome and these students worked very hard to earn this rating!
If you wish to see an encore performance as well as more pieces played by both our beginning band and advanced band, their spring concert will be at 6:30 at the Wesley Chapel Center for the Arts on May 1st. The high school band and choir will be performing at the same time and place on April 30th.

Trauma-Informed Care Book Study!
Below is the email that Mrs. Hawk sent out earlier this week:
It is no doubt when it comes to traumatic experiences, we have experienced a thing or two this year as a staff. However, it has not broken our Coyote spirit! This is due to the fact that it is not necessarily the “trauma one has faced, but the ability to respond to it” which causes us to react as we do. In other words, events are only as traumatic our ability to adjust and overcome. This is not only true for us, it also applies just as much to our students and families.
