Google Workshops for the Classroom Teacher
Join us at CLIU 21 for the Google Workshops that meet your needs. From those that want to hone their skills for better classroom implementation to the teacher that still needs to learn about the many tools available, there is something for everyone.
All workshops will be presented in a computer lab setting, but participants are welcome to bring their own devices. Lunch will be provided for all workshops.

Foundations of Google Apps (Part 1) - Google 101
Participants in this workshop will get an introduction to Google, the Chrome browser experience, and many of the most utilized Google apps in classrooms. Participants will be introduced to Google Drive, Docs, Slides, and Sheets with the basic how-to's in their use. Participants will also be introduced to the sharing experience through Google Apps.

Participants in this workshop will have the opportunity to learn more about the primary Google apps of Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drawings, Forms, and Calendar. Focus will be placed on ways to collaborate and share using Google apps in order to transform practice.

In what ways can the use of Google apps transform your classroom? From the myriad of ways to collaborate to methods of formative assessment, there are many ways that Google tools can change the way you teach and students learn. This workshop will focus on the development of lessons and ideas using Google tools, including Google Classroom. (Participants in this course must have access to Google Apps for Education.)
