Meet Mr. Kelah
Holy Rosary Bilingual Academy
A Message from Mr. Kelah
Greetings to the Staff and Families of Holy Rosary Bilingual Academy.
I hope you are enjoying the wonderful summer holiday, which is fast coming to an end. I am most happy and elated to be offered an opportunity to contribute to the successes of this academic institution and especially to teach the kids of second and third grades in English for the 2018/2019 school year. I was born in Cameroon and that is where I attended school. I attended a Catholic elementary school, middle school, high school and even attended a seminary, before continuing to the university.
I have 2 bachelor’s degrees from two different universities. One is in English and another is in Philosophy and I am gearing towards completing a master’s in information security.
I have a teaching experience of 13 years from three different countries as I have taught in Cameroon (Africa), Mexico, and in the United States. I believe that teaching is a vocation (i. e a call to serve) and I am happy serving. I will be even happier serving the kids of 2nd and 3rd grades of Holy Rosary Bilingual Academy.
I am good at working with students both as individuals and as a team. I enjoy discovering their strengths, weaknesses, the opportunities available for them and helping them combat their challenges.
As for what I do in my spare time, I love watching, playing and coaching (especially soccer) and I am a certified soccer coach of the American Soccer Federation. I also play other games like Table Tennis, Volleyball, Handball and other indoor games. For 13 years, I have coached a number of school soccer teams and won lots of trophies and medals and would be happy to continue coaching soccer at Holy Rosary, as well.
As the term is fast approaching, I can’t hide my excitement of meeting you all and working with you. I am very grateful for all you have done and are doing for the success of the kids and the academy.
God bless you all,
