Why is water quality important?
Water quality is important because it helps protect and restore quality of nations surface water.
How does your focus “Out The Spout” or “Down The Drain” affect water quality?
“Out The Spout” is water that is conserved. “Down the drain” is how you pollute the water.
Give specific examples of how water quality can be affected.
You can pollute the water which involves dumping trash in it or adding chemicals that don’t belong in it.
Temperature of the water could change.
Give specific recommendations or solutions to the problem of water quality.
Put your trash in a trashcan and not everywhere else.
Conserve water
- Don’t over-fertilize
