Bronco Chronicles
Volume 26, Week 3/27- 3/31
Lead Learner's Message
Goooooood evening #BroncoStrong faculty and staff. The twenty-ninth week was full of challenges, but it was wonderful nonetheless. We finished our first round of testing.....the kids did a great job, & the faculty and staff did a great job. I want to send a big shout out to Mrs. Jones for all her hard work in making this first wave of testing happen without any real glitches! Last week we participated in the movement for Tobacco Free Youth, and it seemed to be a success. Moreover, it created some real eye-opening moments for our kids. I want to thank all of those who took the pledge!
Monday we kicked off our Teacher Appreciation Week! The band and cheerleaders did a great job of playing and cheering for our teachers as they entered the building Monday morning. One teacher said, "Now I know how the football players feel!" In addition, PTO provided a delicious breakfast for our teachers, and for that, we are so very grateful!
Our second wave of Interventions began on 4/5 along with new Genius Hour Groups. When planning interventions, please ensure kids are actively engaged and making true connections to any TEKS/student learning outcomes they may be struggling with.
Now, get out there and ignite your shine and make this week count!

We LOVE Our Teachers!
Teachers open up young minds, showing them the wonders of the intellect
and the miracle of being able to think for themselves. A teacher exercises the mental muscles of students, stretching and strengthening, so they can make challenging decisions,
find their way in the world, and become independent. The best teachers care enough
To gently push and prod students to do their best and fulfill their potential.
Breckenridge Junior High teachers are those teachers!
Thank you
