Keepin' It Kind

- Kind Kids
Kind Words
- Think before you speak: Is it kind? Is it helpful? Is it necessary? Is it true?
- Just because you think it doesn't mean you have to say it.
- Delivery of what we say: tone of voice, facial expressions, body language.
Kind Actions
- Helping others
- Caring for your belongings; cubbies, lockers, coats, desk, bins, organizing
- Caring for the belonging of others; items in the hallway, admire artwork with your eyes and not your hands, items you borrow.
- Caring for materials; recess equipment, books, devices, personal space, library books.
- Lead by example; treat others the way you like to be treated.
Kind Kids
- Be inclusive; invite others to play.
- Share; not just stuff but yourself. Active listening, eye contact, friends.
- Manners; use them, they are free.
- Honor the personal space of others
- Be kind at home.
