This Week in Band News

Hi Folks - We had another good performance this past Friday at the football game! It's hard to believe, but this Friday marks the halfway point of the season.


This week we will be taking on the Indians at Pequea Valley High School. We will be performing pre-game since it is their Homecoming game. This Friday will also mark the first rehearsal after school for Jazz Band. Because of our early departure time, band students will be allowed to stay after school in the band room until departure.


Please note the calendar schedule at the bottom of this page. Homecoming will be October 8th. October 16th is the Lebanon County Band Exhibition at Cedar Crest this is a mandatory performance. Please make sure your child is in attendance that evening.




DETAILS FOR THIS FRIDAY'S GAME At Pequea Valley

- Uniform: Show Tshirt, Full Band uniform, Black Socks, Dinkles, Band Baseball Hat, gloves.

- Report Time: 4:15pm

- Departure: 4:45pm

- Game Start: 7:00pm

- Performance: Pre-game

- Return: @10:00pm I will send a remind text message when we are about 20 minutes away from the school.


As always, continue to encourage your children to practice the show music. And a reminder to fill out the absence form below if your child will be missing any rehearsal or marching band event.

Homecoming Tailgate Party

It's Back! The Homecoming Tailgate will take place at 4:30pm on the front lawn of the high school. Please see the attached flyer for more details.

Lebanon County Band Exhibition

Looking ahead to the Lebanon County Band Exhibition on October 16th, we will be reporting that day at 2:30pm and departing at 3:00pm. We will travel to Cedar Crest High School where we will rehearse the combined band piece to be performed at the end of the show. This past Friday, the band boosters took requests for a sub meal which they will be providing after the rehearsal. If your child was absent from Friday night's football game, make sure they see Nathan or Victoria Sanchez to fill out a form.


The show will start at 6pm and conclude around 9:15pm with the combined band performance. We should be back to the school around 10pm. This is a mandatory performance so we can put our best foot forward for the crowd in attendance. The best part is, the crowd at this performance will actually sit quietly and listen to our show. LVC marching band will also be performing.

Band Booster Craft Show Canceled

Due to the current orders in place, the Band Boosters have decided to cancel this year's craft show. If you have any questions, please see one of the booster officers for details.
