This No Tax-Rate Increase Bond Proposal will help UCS instill excellence in every part of our school district by focusing on two key areas: SAFETY and SUCCESS

Our UCS bus drivers make a difference every day in the lives of our students. UCS drivers are the first person students see every morning and the last at the end of the day. We are looking for individuals who want to help drive the future for our students.

If you are interested in becoming a bus driver, walk in interviews are being held on March 8, 15 and 22 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at our UCS Auxiliary Services Department, 6600 18 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48314.

This is a great opportunity for individuals who are looking for a full or part time job that follows the school calendar. For more information, please visit https://www.uticak12.org/driverseat.

Utica Community Schools Electronic Device Use and Protocol for Statewide Testing

We are coming up into our winter / spring testing season. With that, please note that on testing days (MSTEP / WIDA) students personal devices (phones, apple watches etc.) are to be kept home or will be kept in a secure area determined by the building administrator.


Additionally:

*Students are not allowed to access the device for any testing.

*A student may not access any additional websites or applications during testing.

*No pictures or videos may be taken during testing.

*Students may NOT have Bluetooth headphones during testing.


Students violating this protocol may have their test invalidated and be subject to discipline up to and including suspension or expulsion for violating the District Acceptable Use of Technology Policy and the Student Code of Conduct.

Kindergarten Open House

All UCS elementary schools will be hosting an open house on Wednesday, March 1 from 7 - 8:30 p.m. to welcome new families. Come get a glimpse at the educational opportunities that await your child at Utica Community Schools.
