Remembrance Day is held on the 11th of November because that is the day that they signed the treaty to stop the war. We have one minute of silence to remember all of the soldiers that fought for us. We have the minute silence is at 11:00 because that is the exact time they signed the treaty in France

Remembrance Day is a very special day for many people, it is a day were we remember the people who fought for our country. You may remember your family members that have fought from the war and all the soldiers that fought for us.

All the soldiers names are on a wall and you may put a poppy next to there name and that represents all the blood that has been spilled

For Remembrance Day we recite the ode to respect the soldiers that fought for us. The ode recites They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
