Meetings and Announcements
Tualatin High School Equestrian Team would like to invite you to their first team meeting. If you ride horses, or would like to join the team as a non-competing member, please come to our meeting tomorrow morning at 7:30am in Mrs. Miller's room #158. Or, come see our booth at the club fair the following week and get questions answered about what we do. If you know of any interested 8th graders, send them our way! Our team is now allowing 8th grade non-competes!
Yearbooks will be distributed today, tomorrow and Wednesday only during lunches, in the commons next to the drinking fountain. You must bring photo ID.
Attention Sophomores and Juniors!!!!
We still have spots available for the PSAT. The PSAT is a standardized test that provides firsthand practice for the SAT. It also gives students a chance to enter National Merit scholarship programs and gain access to college and career planning tools. This exam will be given at Tualatin High School on Saturday, October 19th at 7:30 AM. The cost of the exam is $25 and students can sign up with the bookkeeper.
If you earned OIT dual credit last year for any MATH course, come pick up your free OIT t-shirt! They will be available in room 47 for the next few days.
Dressed To Dream. Are you getting excited for Homecoming 2019? The FREE attire give away for students is this Saturday, Sept. 21st from 10AM - 4PM at Byrom Elementary School. Drop in's are welcome or you can make a reservation by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or call 503-431-4151. To volunteer or arrange a donation please use the same contact information. Donations being accepted are: Dresses - short/long, ladies shoes, jewelry, men's slacks, jackets, dress shirts, dress shoes, new mens socks, tie/cumber-bun's, etc.
A representative from Northwest Chrisitan University is currently in the College and Career Center to meet with students interested in learning more about their university.
Representatives from Bucknell University in Pennsylvania and Quest University Canada will be in the College and Career Center tomorrow morning. Please sign up on Naviance to attend the college visits.
Back to School Night- Wednesday , September 18th - 5:30pm
This Wednesday, September 18th, is Back to School Night.
Please park on the South side of the building, pick up a schedule of your student in the small gym (Please make sure to always check ParentVue for the most recent schedule since classes are still being changed) and join us for opening remarks in the Main Gym at 5:30 pm.
At 6:05 PM you will attend an abbreviated version of your student’s schedule.
This is a great opportunity for you to meet your student’s teachers and learn about class requirements and expectations.
We hope to see you all there!

Parking Lot Safety for our students!
Please keep the fire lane along the curb clear of cars!
You are welcome to pull into any open parking spot to wait for your student (please don't park in the handicapped spots). As soon as the construction fencing is cleared, we will have a space in the north lot dedicated to parent pickup in the afternoons. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
General Parking Information
Visitors can only access the school from the South Lot through the middle entrance to the new main office. All visitors are required to sign in. All other entrances will be locked during the school day for students' safety.
Please park in the South lot visitors parking spaces, close to the main entrance, right next to the blue markings for the police car parking. - See map attached.
Numbered parking spots are assigned students and staff only.
Morning parent drop off and afternoon pick up is still in the North Lot. There is no visitor parking available in the North lot.

Join the TSO
First meeting of the year is Tue. Sept. 10 at 7 p.m. in the TuHS Library. Volunteers are needed for key committee chairs including Publicity, Hospitality, Grad Night and Auction. There are also lots of other ways to be involved. Contact Connie Brown, email@example.com if you are interested in learning more or want to help out. TSO supports academics, arts, activities and athletics. We are the only group at TuHS that fundraises for academics and last school year we provided $24K in grants to TuHS. Come join us!
