Welcome Back!
Starting a new school year can be exciting. Pretty soon students and teachers will stream through the library doors to find the next best book, to get involved in Makerspace, and to learn new things.
Here are a few suggestions to kick off your year.

DISCOVERY ED – BYTE OF THE MONTH
This month, we would like to highlight the “My Digital Life” channel. In partnership with Norton, My Digital Life covers topics about digital citizenship, which refers to the responsible use of technology by anyone who uses computers, the Internet, and digital devices to engage with society on any level. Through Digital Citizenship, your students will be Inclusive, Engaged, Balanced, and Alert while in digital spaces.

1. My District Just Signed Up for TexQuest, Now What?

Your district has signed up for TexQuest, but now what do you do? Come work through a step-by-step action plan to implement the TexQuest resources at your school/district.
Targeted Audience: Librarians, Instructional Technologists, Curriculum Leaders, who will be charged with sharing TexQuest resources at their districts/schools.

This package includes face-to-face training, online support, nationally recognized speakers, program reviews, networking opportunities, and customized consultations for your district librarians.
This year we are offering book studies, monthly virtual PLCs, library contests, professional development sessions and conferences, school visits, and much more.
