In the beginning of the quadratics unit, we started by transforming relations from standard form to factored form. After we did this the equation was suppose to be equal to the one we started off with originally. The key goal is to find the x-intercepts as there will be more then 1 in some cases. In standard form in order to find these solutions we have to use the quadratic formula, which is x= -b= +- *square root* b^-4ac/ 2a. Using these we can figure out what the points are for a parabola in order to graph them.
