Mann Science
For the week of April 14 - 18 AND 21 - 25, 2014
A note from Mrs. Mann
This week's edition of the newsletter will actually cover two weeks.
On a personal note:
I will be in Boston this time next week getting ready to watch my Dad run in the Boston Marathon on Monday. Last year my Dad was running in the Boston marathon when the bombs went off....for about two hours I had no idea if my parents were okay or not.
My Dad was less than a mile from the finish line and my Mom was getting off the elevators in the front lobby of the hotel room when chaos hit. This trip will be emotional, but in a good way and I am looking forward to celebrating the accomplishments of my Dad and my Mom together!
Classroom news....
We are starting the last six weeks for all my seventh graders!!
This is crazy, my how time flies. I am very proud of all my students and as parents, PLEASE encourage your student to finish the school year strong. The fifth six weeks grades overall were good, but I also saw drops in grades due to not turning in work and not attending tutorials and completing assignments.
