Teacher Information Session
There will be an overview of the approach by our Schools Adviser. You will then have the opportunity to observe a Language Futures lesson. Finally, there will be a Question & Answer session where you can judge your school’s readiness to launch the approach against its core features, including support on the use of language proficient mentors.

Language Futures at Language World 2017
Language Futures will also have a significant presence at Language World 2017.
On the Friday, there will be a Major Talk (Linguistic autonomy, in the end, is the only goal that matters) and a secondary focused session (Developing after-school languages provision as a serious strategy for increasing pupil motivation and uptake) as well as a research poster session,
The Saturday session will focus on primary (Opening the classroom door to parents and the community: How Language Futures can enhance provision and impact upon progress). There will also be a dedicated Language Futures stand in the exhibition offering additional information to interested schools. Appointments can also be be booked with the Language Futures team to discuss particular aspects of the Language Futures approach.
