My Irish Community
By Seth Gist
The Irish Clan
The Irish are a very old clan of people who lived in a village. That is how it all started. Those people were my ancestors and I'm Irish. Well, half Irish but I'm still Irish. This flyer is how I celebrate holidays and who I spend it with.
Four Leaf Clovers
The infamous four leafed clover is a popular icon for the Irish. The four leafed clover stands for good luck. That's why us Irish are very lucky.
My Grandfather with JFK
This is about my double great grandfather driving the car in Dallas, Texas the day of JFK's assassination. He is the one in front of the picture.
Daniel Boone, a Pioneer and a Relative
Daniel Boone explored and found many things. He found forests and other things, but he also is the greatest pioneer if ever been related to. YOU HEARD ME! I'm related to Daniel Boone.
The St. Patrick's Day Parade
The Holiday Parade
A parade is really fun to go to, especially on special holidays. The St. Patrick's Day parade is the most magical event you're gonna remember.
How We Celebrate
Us Irish celebrate by having food and desserts. Yes, every holiday has that, but our buffet is way different. We have a feast and then the adults would get drunk, and the kids, at my uncles, get to play Xbox all night if we wanted to.
