What does next year look like?

No one knows what next year will look like quite yet. There is a team in place that will be creating our Return to Learn plan for the 2020-2021 school year. Our goal is to be in our building educating our students. If there are additional protocols that must be followed to make sure that happens safely we will do so. We value the importance of face-to-face learning and praying together.

There are predictions that we may have to go into quarantine again at some point during the 2020-2021 school year. We are prepared for that possibility also. We plan to take the skills we learned rapidly this spring and fine-tune them to provide our students with a high quality online learning environment in preparation for another possible shut down.

Standards and Grades

The standards your children are completing and the grades your children are earning will go into their permanent file for the 2019-2020 school year. The last day work will be assigned is May 22nd. The last day work will be turned in is May 28th. Standards and grades will be posted mid-June.

Please check in with your child to be certain their work is being completed to the best of their ability. We know that doing work at home without their teacher nearby is not ideal and our teachers are doing everything they can to make sure your child succeeds. Parents, please make sure your child is doing their work so the teachers can see that your child is understanding the content and material.

If you want to know how your child is doing please log in to Power School https://ddm.powerschool.com/public/home.html. If you do not remember your password please email slane@crestonstmalachy.org, she can reset your password.
