Oregon Connections Training 11/5/19
Connect your classroom to virtual fieldtrips and industry!
Connect students to a world of career opportunities!
Oregon Connections is the next generation, web-based tool that makes it easy for industry professionals to connect with K-12 educators. Professionals can share their skills and expertise to bring real-world, authentic learning opportunities to all our students helping to create the next generation of innovators. Through industry chats, virtual fieldtrips, and personalized sessions, teachers connect their classroom to the world of work.
Additionally, there will be many opportunities this year for Douglas County educators to use Oregon Connections (also called Nepris) to watch local fieldtrips and industry chats. Umpqua Valley STEAM Hub staff is actively planning "Douglas County World of Work" series and fieldtrips for this school year.
The videos linked below are very short (less than 1 minute) examples of what Oregon Connections & Nepris have to offer!
