Super Star Signings

Two student-athletes at Mesa Ridge high school signed letters of intent on Wednesday, November 18. Kylee Shook will be playing basketball at Louisville (D-I) in Kentucky and Braden Bentley will be golfing at Lewis University (D-II) in Chicago. Way to go Grizzlies!!

Widefield of Dreams ~ Danaya Kinnard

Meet our Widefield of Dreams student of the month Danaya Kinnard!

She is a vibrant fifth grader at Venetucci Elementary who has a passion for learning. Danaya won “Best In Show” for her “Dirty To Clean Water” experiment at the 2015 District Science Fair. She also won the grand prize at last year’s district science fair. Danaya is a gifted and talented student who excels at reading, math and science. She loves to learn and has an incredible memory to remember everything she learns. She says her dream is to become a scientist or surgeon.

Students Helping Students

A group of students from Janitell junior high have partnered with the Special Olympics and Project UNIFY to create and facilitate an inclusive environment for all students. The students pictured below attended the Special Olympics Colorado Unified Schools Summit at Douglas County High School in Castle Rock on November 14, with specific focus being on how to become a partner athlete. If schools are interested in getting involved please contact Katie Sparks at Janitell.
