Roald Dahl Early life

Roald Dahl was born in 1916 on september 13 in Llandaff Wales. He was the oldest sibling in his family. His youngest sister was born in 1918 And Then they moved to Radyr. They moved to Zadyr in 1918. And his Father and his sister died in 1920 At the age of four. MOved back to wales in 1921 He began school in 1923 at the age 7 in wales.

Later life

In 1934 he got his first job at shell. In November of 1939 the outbreak of world war ll stars and he joins the Royal Air Force. In the beginning of his writing career Roald Dahl published his first short story in the Saturday Evening Post. He went on to write stories and articles for other magazines, including The New Yorker. Of his early writing career, Dahl toldNew York Times book reviewer Willa Petschek, "As I went on the stories became less and less realistic and more fantastic." He became more and more famous.
