Mashburn Spotlight!!!

April Escobar!!

She works hard every day to make sure our class is ready to learn. She has a heart of GOLD!!

Shout outs to the students who raised $4200 for Jump Rope for Heart. Our goal was $2000 and if we raised $2500, I told them I'd wear a suit to school.

Kelly Buchwald totally rocked her first IEP transition meeting with people from other schools! That can be an intimidating task but she handled it with such grace and poise. I'm proud to be on her team!

Pat Rice covered lunch duty this afternoon so Jennie and Carol could cover the front desk.

I have a shout out for Coach Carlson who after planning with second grade did a fantastic job integrating geometry and shape names into his lessons. The kids loved it and learned!

I would like to give a shoutout to Aimee Faulkner. One of our students has been agitated for the past two weeks, and she has handled him with such love, patience, and grace. Aimee can sense what this student needs to get into a calmer frame of mind.

Shout out to Coach Carlson who did a fabulous job incorporating the 2nd grade geometry standards. The kids were so excited!

Thanks to everyone who helped turn on, turn off, turn on, turn off, turn on....computers to prepare for the GA Milestones Practice Test.
