Updates to Contact Tracing Guidelines: Last week the Oregon Health Authority (OHA), and Washington County Public Health Department released an update to contact tracing guidance for schools. The update no longer requires quarantine for masked indoor close contacts in K-12 settings. Quarantine will continue to be required for any students exposed due to no mask or an improperly worn mask by either individual. Exposed students who are unvaccinated will be quarantined for 5 days. Parents of exposed, vaccinated students will be notified of the exposure and asked to monitor student health for 14 days.
