Free & Reduced Lunch Application

Free and Reduced LUNCH Applications for 2022-2023

Over the past two years, SDPC has been able to provide free meals to our students due to the USDA waivers associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. This federally funded free school meal program is no longer available beginning the 2022-2023 school year.

If your student qualifies for free or reduced meals, they can still receive them next year, but you MUST TAKE ACTION to make it happen.

To learn more about eligibility and the free and reduced program, visit: www.sdpcnutrition.com

To apply now, visit: bit.ly/3afH7Yd

If you have any questions, please contact our Student Nutrition department : (864)397-1167 or theresaboggs@pickens.k12.sc.us

*TIP: Add a 0 to the beginning of your case number if it won't accept it!*

District Bus Transportation Information

If your student plans to use the bus this year, please fill out the 2022-2023 Student Transportation Form at the link below. This will help transportation plan for routes prior to the beginning of school. Please send individual questions regarding bus transportation to aaronboyles@pickens.k12.sc.us or monicacox@pickens.k12.sc.us.

Tech It Home Fee

Tech It Home fees will be collected from each student in grades 3-5. Due to rising insurance costs on devices, the fee for the 2022-2023 school year will be $25. Devices will not be able to come home unless the fee is paid. Students will receive devices within the first few weeks of school. Teachers will send them home with students.

The fee can be paid at Meet the Teacher with cash or check or can be paid online at MySchool Bucks. Click the link below to pay the fee online!

Arrival & Dismissal Times/Locations

Please note that LES begins at 8:00 and will be considered tardy after 8:00am. We dismiss at 2:30pm. All 5th grade students (and their siblings) will be dismissed from the back car loop. All 3rd & 4th grade students will be dismissed from the front car loop.

We hope everyone is having an AMAZING summer! Every student was given the book, The Lemonade War, and a BINGO card. This year our summer challenge is to read the book as a family and complete FIVE of the BINGO boxes! Students will bring the BINGO card with a parent signature, their name, and the five completed boxes to school in the fall. They will receive an invitation to our special Summer Challenge party with former Clemson football player, Ben Boulware! Check out his video below! Also, be on the lookout for our LES Lemonade Stands around Liberty this summer! #LESFamily #SummerChallenge #benboulware
