Terrific Kids
It is such an honor to stand before the school's Terrific Kids and read and hear what teachers write about these children. As you can see from these pictures, the pride these families have throughout this ceremony stirs the soul! Thank you for taking time out of your busy day to recognize these children! Also, thank you to Ms. Colquhoun and Ms. Austin for taking pictures, serving cookies, and cleaning up after TK when I had a meeting to attend! It was truly, "all hands on deck!"
I'll Help!
A huge shout-out goes to Ms. Galloway for her willingness to administer CogAT testing to a second grade class. She has also agreed to accompany Ms. Pursley's class on their field trip in Ms. Adkins' absence. We realize that having an intern allows for these opportunities, but it is never easy to leave your class and we are forever grateful for the help! Thank you Ms. Galloway for going the EXTRA mile for all of the students at IHES!
Jack of all Trades!
Ms. Marian Taylor is a "Jack of all Trades." There has never been a time that something has been asked of her that she didn't rise to the occasion without complaint! Her day ranges from small group work with children to manning the front office so Kim can get lunch! Thank you Ms. M. Taylor for your flexibility and willingness to do whatever it takes!
The Pirate Way
- If you know of anyone who can/will help with planting red tulips on Thursday and Friday next week please let Ms. Guyton know as soon as possible. She is still seeking volunteers to help with this project!
- Wishing you a wonderfully wacky Red Ribbon Week!
