Walden Weekly
School News You Can Use
Dear Walden Families,
We had a fantastic last week of 2021 at Walden School. Students enjoyed our spirit week with different dress up days, including pajama day, team/jersey day, Walden Wear day, tie-dye day, and crazy hair day being my personal favorite. We also enjoyed watching the Deerfield High School Choraliers perform for our school. We were not able to fit the entire school into the gym, so some classes watched a video of the performance in their classrooms. Lastly, our students ended the week with their classroom party celebrations! Thank you to all of our parent volunteers who made the day very special for our students.
I want to wish you all a wonderful and relaxing winter break. Whether you are traveling or staying local, please be safe during our two weeks off. Thank you for a great past few months and we look forward to an even better 2022!

Philanthropy Efforts at Walden
Thank you to all of our families who contributed to Operation Snowflake and/or to our CASA gift drive. It was incredible seeing the generosity pouring into our school from our wonderful community. I know that many local children will feel very special this holiday season as many of their wishes will come true. Thank you!
