Scan our QR code to donate and help give a child with life altering conditions an opportunity of a lifetime. Donating will help us reach our goal to give our dream kid their ultimate sports dream. For the last eight years, DO3 has been providing hope and joy to kids living with life-altering conditions. Our Junior Dream Team is made up of a group of Severance High School students who will work with Dream on 3 to make an over the top sports dream come true for a well deserving individual in our community! Join us in our efforts, together we can do great things! #UKnighted

A Message from Our Parents:

We are so excited to welcome back our amazing Silver Knights staff! We would love to show them our support all throughout the year by providing a variety of snacks in their break room. Please join us in this simple act of appreciation that they will enjoy any time they just need a little something....:)

We have around 85 staff members and the snack sign-up dates are set at every two weeks. Bring however many snacks you feel inclined to share. Partner with a friend or a group if you would like to! Office staff or parent volunteers will re-stock the jars and baskets with any overflow snacks throughout the two weeks as needed.

You may sign up for a date below and bring your snack donations to the SHS front desk on that day. Ideas could include: fresh fruits or veggies, granola bars, individual chip/pretzel/cracker/cookie packs, dried fruit bars or snacks, beef jerky, popcorn packs, mints, gum, seasonal fun treats. Please bring items that are NUT FREE just for ease of everyone's enjoyment. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Here are 2 great CTE (Career and Technical Education) opportunities for Juniors and/or Seniors:

  1. Northern Colorado Manufacturing Sector Partnership will be hosting their annual NOCOM event. This is a B2B opportunity for northern Colorado businesses in manufacturing, but it also serves as an opportunity for the manufacturing industry to promote careers in manufacturing to NOCO students, as well as a job fair for both young adults and job seekers. While there, students will hear from an industry panel, listen to an industry keynote speaker and get to spend time on the trade floor meeting and talking about career pathways in manufacturing (possibly even getting hired if seeking a job). The event will be held on Sept. 28th at the Budweiser Event Center from 11-1 p.m. (lunch will be provided). We have the opportunity to take 10 SHS Seniors to the event. Talk with your counselor or Mr. Morrow, if you want to attend and have an interest in the following areas: welding, fabrication, robotics, engineering and automation.

  1. CTE OPPORTUNITIES FAIR: It's time for our CTE Opportunities Fair again! We had such a great turn out last year and we are working to get even more businesses and schools to exhibit. We have moved the venue to Windsor Community Recreation Center in Windsor, CO. We hope you will join us again this year on September 29th, 2022. Juniors and Seniors, sign-up and return permission slips by 9/21 to the counseling office with Mrs. O'Brien.
