Making a difference today to create a better tomorrow.
March 25-29, 2019
One District, One Book
Music is a universal language, depicted so eloquently in the clip. This week, we've enjoyed the creative talents of our students through the annual Spring Music Concert. How many of us allow music to comfort us; how many of our students feel the same way? In Ivan, do you wonder what role music could have played to lessen Ivan's loneliness and what role, if any, music will play when we are introduced to the relationship between elephant characters Stella and Ruby? Reach out to your High Fives this week. Continue building your relationships around these shared literacy and music program experiences. Whether through discussion about Ivan's use of crayons (artistry vs snacks) or what role music might have had for Ivan and his friends, this week doors of communication we have yet to focus on have been opened. We'll carry forward what we learned in Kids Deserve It! to do what's best for kids, including discovering creative and expressive passions, talents and skills! #spartansbelivespartansachieve
