Looking Ahead to April
- We will be starting out unit on dinosaurs.
- We will be creating a dinosaur book and different dinosaur projects.
- Great Valley Nature Center will come for a visit to talk about dinosaurs!
- We will be talking about Earth Day.
- We will continue reviewing the letters of the alphabet and their corresponding sounds and create our alphabet books.
- We will continue talking about time to the hour and introduce time to the half hour. We will also continue counting and identifying pennies, nickels and dimes.
- We will continue writing sentences, talking about finger spaces and inventive spelling.

We are always working on writing our names, counting, identifying and writing the numbers 1-20. Keep practicing identifying the letters and their corresponding sounds, as long as writing each uppercase and lowercase letter.
Sight Word Practice
Colors:
- orange, blue, red, green, brown, yellow, black, gray, pink
Number sight words:
- one,two,three,four,five,six,seven,eight,nine,ten
Shape sight words:
- oval, circle, square, rectangle, star, heart, triangle
is, word, may, that, and, said, I, with, name, on, see, an, it, look, book, are, color, you, this, yes, no, help, said, jump, have, big, little, where, come, run, to, too, do, play, dog, said, a are sight words in addition to the above words.
We have started focusing on four sight words a week, spelling, recognizing and saying the words during calendar.
