Girls on the Run
Girls on the Run needs your help!
Girls on the Run (GOTR) is returning to Bridge Street School again this Spring and we are looking for two more volunteer coaches to help!
GOTR is an innovative after school program that inspires girls to be joyful, confident and healthy. The curriculum encourages the girls to recognize their individual strengths and celebrate connections with others. It’s all about girl power and no running experience is necessary!
Before we can open registration for our 3-5th grade BSS girls, we need help recruiting volunteer coaches who can be at the practices.
Coaches are trained, supported and given all supplies needed to have a successful season. Coaches can be a parents or local community members (doesn’t just have to be a BSS person).
Practices meet twice a week from March 11th-June 2nd after school at Bridge Street school on Mondays and Fridays from 3:00-4:30pm.
And, if you are enrolled in BASE, you can pro-rate that session and do both programs seamlessly!
If interested or would like to learn more, please reach out Bridge St parent and volunteer coach Alex Russell: alexandra.russellb@gmail.com or GOTR program director Molly Hoyt: molly.hoyt@girlsontherun.org / 413-320-1845.
