The Great Depression.

The Great Depression started after the stock market crash tuesday October 29, 1929. Many people lost their jobs because no one could pay them. They started living in Hoovervilles named after hover the president at the time, they believed it was his fault that they went into the Great Depression. Many people tried to escape the depression with entertainment. The depression lasted from 1929- the early 1940s.
