BHS Juniors Visit HBCU's

A group of 21 Brighton High School juniors had the opportunity to tour two Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU’s) in March. Brighton Director of Student and Family Engagement Jeff Green, Brighton High School Principal Dr. Tom Hall, and BHS counselor Courtney Stern accompanied the students. The BHS group went with several other Monroe County schools.

The students toured Howard University in Washington, DC and Morgan State University in Baltimore. They also visited the National Museum of African American History, toured the monuments, and saw the changing of the guard at Arlington Cemetery.
