March 4 - Parent Teacher Conferences (No school for students)
Parent teacher conferences are on March 4th, please use the link below to schedule a conference for your child, if you would need further information about conferences please contact your child’s team leader.

To order online, parents will need the PGMS picture code - JL728291Q0 and the portrait code from the hardcopy form.
(students will be called by grade level, beginning at 10:15am and individually if they want pictures, they will be sent to the auditorium)

Highlights from the Camfel Assembly on February 7th
The PGMS staff recieved QPR training on February 14th and the PGMS Students viewed an assembly by Minding Your Minds and Jordan Burnham on February 25th.

Mr. Jordan Burnham's presentation was FABULOUS!!!
Jordan Burnham is professional public speaker on mental health and suicide prevention as a part of the Minding Your Mind Speakers Bureau. He is a survivor of a suicide attempt during his senior year of high school and will share his powerful story of fighting depression and finding recovery.
Jordan has received numerous accolades for his work in mental health advocacy over the last 10 years. He’s been featured in Sports Illustrated, PEOPLE Magazine and USA Today. He has also appeared on Dr. Phil, The Early Show, CNN, Good Morning America and ESPN's E:60. His piece “Unbreakable” with E:60 was nominated for an Emmy. Most recently, Jordan was interviewed by Anderson Cooper for the CNN special, “Finding Hope: Battling America’s Suicide Crisis”
In 2008 he addressed a Congressional briefing on Capitol Hill and in 2013 he was invited to the White House for the National Conference on Mental Health, hosted by President Obama and Vice President Biden.
March 25th - Anti-Bully Assembly with Keith Deltano
Keith Deltano is a winner of the teaching excellence award. His DVD and comedy CD have won numerous national awards. He is the creator of the anti bullying curriculum, “The Complete Anti Bullying Kit.” Keith has served and worked with youth as a public school teacher, private counselor, youth worker, and US Army Airborne Military Police Officer.

PSSA Testing and Keystone Testing Dates - 2019 at PGMS
PSSA Testing Dates
ELA - April 9. 10, 11
Math - April 24, 25
Science - April 30 and May 1
Please note our testing block for PSSA testing will be from 8:15am – 10:15am and then we will proceed with an adapted academic schedule on all testing days. Students that need extended time will be accommodated on all testing days.

Resources and Information for Parents and Students
Note to Parents - Middle School Lost and Found
The lost and found at PGMS has reached an astonishing level. All items have been on display for the past week in the hallway outside the gym.
The items will remain out until after Parent Teacher Conferences, on March 4th. After March 4th all remaining items will be donated to a designated organization.
Please encourage your child to check the tables for any items they may have misplaced during the course of the school year. Parents are welcome to visit the lost and found during the day of parent teacher conferences on March 4th (from 12:00 - 8:00).
