May 15, 2020- Class of 2020 Information
SUMMA AND SENIOR AWARD RECOGNITION - June 1, 2, and 3
Summa honors and senior awards will be celebrated with front porch ceremonies. The Student Center will be mailing home letters to share more specific details including date and time frame.
SENIOR SALUTE - Friday, June 12, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
The K-12 school campuses will be transformed into a drive-through parade route with teachers and staff cheering on the seniors as they drive by. We encourage students to decorate their vehicles with their name and post-graduation plans. Parents wishing to experience the event are encouraged to ride with their student(s). More details will be shared via Remind and the Principal’s Newsletters as we arrive closer to the event.
At the Senior Salute, students will…
pick up their yearbook (if ordered).
pick up their graduation cap & gown (if ordered) and any cords/sashes/honors earned.
receive a senior swag bag filled with surprises!
be honored and celebrated by Webster’s K-12 staff!
We promise that the accomplishments of the Class of 2020 will be celebrated in the best way possible! Three options for graduation ceremonies are being considered. All decisions will be made in accordance with health guidelines and details will be shared as soon as they are available.
Plan A - July 27 at a location to be announced
All graduates will be invited to attend a ceremony with possibly up to four family members.
Plan B - Multiple evenings during week of July 20th at Titan Stadium
Smaller groups of 75-100 graduates will be invited to attend a ceremony at Thomas High School with two family members.
Plan C - Week of July 20th
Virtual, drive-through, or individual ceremonies on the school campus.
***All events are subject to the Department of Health requirements and recommendations.***
Exit Survey with Final Transcript Request - Due ASAP
The Exit Survey will provide you with the opportunity to reflect on your time at Thomas High School, identify your post high school plans, and indicate where you would like the registrar to send your final transcript. The required eight question survey will only take a few minutes to complete.
Virtual Senior Elementary/Willink Parade Slide - Due Friday, May 22
We are creating a virtual parade. Please complete the slide on the Counseling Portfolio Google Classroom page (code: xjkmj5t).
Voice of the Senior Class - Due Friday, May 29
You definitely have a story to tell - be the Voice of 2020. Audition to be a part of history and write a speech to be delivered at your graduation ceremony.
Senior Slideshow - Due Monday, June 1
We are creating a slideshow of pictures to celebrate your time in Webster schools. Pictures can be from elementary school to present day. If you have pictures that you would like us to include, please send them to firstname.lastname@example.org.

Chromebooks/Lockers/Supplies - Administrative teams are working on plans for Chromebook collection, locker clean-out, and the returning of books and supplies. Details will be shared as we approach the end of the year.
