October Count

October Count for grades Kinder-8th began on September 24th and runs through October 8th, with the official count day being October 1st. October count for preschool will run October 25th-November 8th and the official count day is November 1st. It is imperative that students are at school each and every day. Our attendance through October Counts helps fund our school and district. We are also going to award a pizza party to the class with the best attendance! We greatly appreciate your cooperation in ensuring your students are present and on time each day!

Picture Day

Student Picture Day is scheduled for Tuesday, September 28th. Picture order forms were sent home last Friday with all students in their Friday Folders. Picture order forms should be turned into your student's homeroom teacher. Payment is due the same day as pictures and the office as well as Dorian Studios will NOT have change to break any bills. If your student loses their order form, there are additional in the office upon request.

Homecoming Parade

TKP will be participating in the Homecoming Parade at Westminster High School on Saturday October 9 at 9:00. We are looking for volunteers to come and help us decorate and walk with us in the parade. We will start decorating our float at 8:30 that morning. If you are interested in walking with us please email Stephanie Fick at sfick@mywps.org.

Parent Survey- Please Complete!

Helping our students do their best in school requires a team effort. Parents/Guardians play important roles in this process. To help all of us learn how to make your child's schooling experience as positive and beneficial as possible, please give us your honest, thoughtful responses to the survey found below. Thank you!

Student Survey

On Wednesday, September 29th, all students in grades 3-8 will be participating in an online survey where they will self-reflect on their social emotional skills and needs. Please see the letter in Friday folders for more information. If you have any questions about the SEL survey, or you do not want your child to participate, please contact Madeline Grace at mgrace@mywps.org.

8th Grade Students

It has been brought to our attention that many 8th grade students are attending our home football games for Westminster High School, which is AWESOME! The only issue is that many of these students are unaccompanied and not getting picked up until well after the game has ended. Westminster High School wants 8th graders to know they are welcome to attend, but must be accompanied by their parent or guardian in order to enter the game.
