This book is basically about Obsessive Compulsive Disorders. It's different people telling their story with their experience with this disorder. OCD is a horrible sickness, some people that see people with OCD say their crazy, or weird. You also find out about all the different types of OCD such as repeating rituals, checking compulsions, sexual obsessions, and many more. So, you can actually learn a lot about OCD from this book.
JUDITH L, RAPOPORT
She is the Chief of Psychiatry Branch NIMH. She did research and clinical training and graduated from Harvard Medical School. She is very intelligent, and she is searching for treatments for all types of disorders.
Colors
In this picture it shows someone that has their crayons color coordinated. This could be an example of someone that has an ordering/arranging disorder.
Clean
This is a picture showing someone washing their hands. Now think of someone with a contamination obsession, I'm sure they do this a lot.
Food
This picture states someone that has their food coordinated. This could also be an example of ordering/arranging disorder.
Text-to-self Connections
I can relate to some of the characters in the story, but it's nothing serious. The arrangement and order compulsion reminds me of myself sometimes, because I like to be neat and in order.
